John is an exceptional tour guide. We learned so many things about the area we would never have known otherwise. If I could rate this tour a perfect 10 I would. Highly recommend. If we get back to SD booking another tour with John would be first on our list of things to do.

Bucket listing all the way...Cindy was a great tour guide... Super interesting commentary... Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse were as good as I expected they might be , but whatever you do , dont miss the Badlands...

This was our first trip to the Black Hills. Cindy was a wonderful guide and was extremely knowledgeable of the area we toured. She gave great background information on all the sites we visited. Our only disappointment was that she was not available the following day when we visited the Badlands. I would highly recommend GeoFunTrek and Cindy to anyone touring the various sites of Western South Dakota.

Cindy was an amazing guide for our tour. She is knowledgeable, caring, and customer service oriented. She enlightened my wife and I on many interesting and little known facts about the area. The tour was worth every penny, as I would never been savvy enough to find most (if not all) of the out of the way spots we visited. She also provided valuable recommendations for places to visit and things to do throughout the state. Do yourself a favor and book the Private Tour of Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Custer State Park by GeoFunTrek Tours. It is a tremendous value and I highly recommend it.

John was an excellent guide with a tremendous amount of knowledge regarding the history and geology of the parks and monuments. My cousin and I selected this tour because we felt it would give us more chances to take the photos we wanted without waiting for others and John was quick to point out photo opportunities he thought we would be interested in. In addition, he let us go at our pace and let us spend more time at the stops we liked. Highly recommend and would take the tour again with John.

Cindy is an expert on the history and geology of the area. Plus, she knows the best spots for pictures, breaks, and good food. We couldn't have enjoyed our tour more. ♥️♥️♥️

Great tour of Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial , Needles Hwy! The second day we were in the Badlands! Great days seeing these places with our tour guide, Cindy! She knew the best places to eat, to view the sites, to take pictures , and too rest! She shared so much interesting information about the the people, the history , and the geology of this area! Very worth the time and money! Felt like we began as strangers and left as friends!

John is an excellent tour guide! We learned a lot about Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park and the Crazy Horse Memorial we otherwise would not have known on our own. His Cowboy poetry were on point :-) and meeting his wife Cyndi in one of our stops was a treat. He also was able to find out where the Bisons herd were and we were lucky enough to see these magnificent animals. The lunch stop at the State Park was great as well. If you ever get a chance to hire John, do it! He's great and very knowledgeable.
